The Designer herself
I was born in Rhode Island, Lived most of my life in Hartford, CT until college. I started at URI but I wasn’t a fan of the diversity there so I transferred back home to a community college for a year. There I found Mount Ida College in Mass. I originally wanted to double major in criminal justice as well as fashion design however, to my dismay, both courses were too intensive and my schedule would not allow it.
My journey started as a child. I was always fascinated with clothing and I remember in particular loving the show “That’s So Raven” because at the time I thought she was so fashionable. It’s actually kind of embarrassing now, Haha! I always struggled with math in high school and wasn’t really a fan of any other subject so I when I saw fashion design as an option for a major I was amped! Throughout college I made several different pieces and collections winning a few awards along the way at our annual school fashion shows. After college, I kind of took a break from design and tried to pursue fashion the 9-5 way which was wildly unsuccessful. I ended up quitting any job I started because I got discouraged and felt like I was wasting my time. I have my own dreams and I constantly felt like I was contributing to someone else’s. I only have one life to live! I graduated Mount Ida College in 2016 and continued to free-lance for a while. Starting in 2017, I started focusing on my collections and released my first “Out of College” collection, Motorsport. Motorsport is an androgynous line which debuted at Fashion Week RI 2018. I have booked multiple shows, shoots, events etc. since and I couldn’t be happier!
I love Lil Uzi Vert even if no one else does, Haha! I like the suicidal trap vibes if that’s even a thing. Rapper xxxtentacion is another favorite, Trippie Redd. I’m trying to think of what my Pandora stations are…
I am a mom who struggles to find clothing that I actually like for prices that aren’t going to cost me my first born!
High school was when I really KNEW that’s what I wanted to do.
Pay attention in college!!! And take business courses!
I think fashion has a large role in everything!! Not just social media but definitely plays a major role. Your clothes can make you or break you on social media. The last thing you want is to become a meme. I feel like fashion also is the first form of communication you receive from a person. Not to judge a book by its cover but how you’re dressed has a lot to do with first impressions.
I love being able to bring my ideas to life. I feel like an engineer or a mad scientist!
AMAZINGGGGGG! Sexy, comfortable, trendy all of the above!
I love researching trends, I also trend forecast a lot naturally and try to incorporate my findings into my collections.
ECLECTIC! Some days I’m a fashion slayer other day I’m homeless.
Denim! Denim! Denim! Denim is timeless and always looks good. It’s like the little black dress of urban clothing.
OFF WHITE! Who doesn’t love their aesthetic?
Ouuuuuu! I have something top secret coming up next! All I can say is that I will be releasing subtle hints with my upcoming giveaways so be sure to watch out for them! My next collection will debut this summer and at Boston Fashion Week in October!
I create women’s clothing, I make men’s clothing, I make androgynous clothing. I try and make it all because I am a creative and creatives cannot be limited.
I’m a 26 year old mom of a beautiful 4 year old baby girl! She’s starting a clothing line of her own!
